“Quatremillemètres vins d’altitude” is the fusion of three Aosta wineries for the joint production of sparkling wines using three different processes: Classico, Charmat and Ancestral.
The idea was born from the synergy and dynamism of three historic Aosta wineries: the “Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle” in Morgex, the “Co-Enfer” of Arvier and “La Crotta di Vegneron” of Chambave. Enthusiasm, research and innovation, respectful of the specificity of the territories and of the vines are the ingredients of these sparkling wines. Using local and international vines both blended and pure to produce original wines of character and clear identity. The products are mountain sparkling wines deep-rooted in their territory, elegant and sophisticated, whose spirit is well represented by the logo which accompanies each bottle: the three Giants of the Alps, the famous four thousand meter high mountain peaks of: Mont Blanc, Matterhorn (Cervino) and Gran Paradiso. These mountains with their glaciers shaped a territory, unique in the world, where for 2000 years man has grown vines adapting to local climates and landscapes. Another key element in “Quatremillemètres vins d’altitude” in the involvement of the Alpine “Guide del Cervino” and “Guide di Courmayeur” two historic associations of high mountain guides, further strengthening our connection with this unique territory.
