- Harvest: 2019
Il Fermo, Chardonnay, Provincia di Pavia IGT
Wine made from Chardonnay grapes selected and harvested by hand from the older vineyards of the estate enjoying favorable exposure and where the yield per vine is below average.
Il Piffero, Pinot Nero, semi sparkling, Provincia di Pavia IGT
Finigeto winery produces this wine with selected grapes coming from old vines placed in a particularly suitable area for the production of Pinot Nero. The yield per hectare is deliberately kept low in order to produce a well-structured wine with complexity and purity.
Il Baldo, Bonarda Dell' Oltrepò Pavese DOC
The land of Oltrepò Pavese is the most suitable one for the production of Bonarda and Finigeto has reached with this wine a high quality level. The soil characteristics and the excellent exposure together with the deliberately limited production per plant and the selection of the grapes, entirely harvested by hand, some days later than the normal harvest time, determined the features of this Bonarda with an excellent completeness of bouquets and flavors perfectly matched to each other.
La Grintosa, semi sparkling, Bonarda Dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC
This wine has been obtained thanks to a careful selection of the grapes, grown in vineyards located in an excellent position within the estate and harvested entirely by hand some days later than the normal time of harvest.
Riserva del Lupo, Lugana DOC
I think it\'s truly outstanding. Probably one of the best Lugana wines I have ever had the chance to try. I\'ve drunk it several times already, and I have always found it has a very distinctive character. Perhaps it\'s a little difficult to understand at the moment, because it\'s still closed and nervous. But, in my opinion, there is a fascinating future in store for it...
Lugana DOC Superiore
It starts fermentation in woodden barrel (25 hl) ending in it as well and coming into the market after 24 months. This long period in barrel gives to this wine a strong and special character, that we consider Superior.
Rosa dei Frati, Riviera del Garda Bresciano DOC
The southern banks of the Benaco have long preserved the tradition of an outstanding, fresh and graceful wine like the Rosa dei Frati. A high level Rosé with a great capacity to surprise with its simple authority. Fresh, delicate yet sharp at the same time, it is capable of being the centrepiece of the table. To the nose, there are clear hints of hawthorn flowers, green apple, white almond and wild cherry. In the mouth, it is tasty, fresh, savoury and able to stimulate the palate thanks to its sharp acidity and hints of small red fruit. The ease of drinking encourages a carefree attitude by the second glass. Recommended with cured meats, fried vegetables, mushrooms, tomato and mozzarella salad, delicate pasta and spring risottos, light white meat and strongly flavoured fish.
