we are Marco and Rosanna of the Azienda Agricola Longariva.

We are “Vine growers for passion”, in love with our work and above all with the soil that we cultivate.

Trentino is our territory, Val Lagarina our sunny valley, the vineyards our passion and the wines … a pleasure to convey and share.

Mounts Baldo, Zugna, Biaena, Stivo and Cornetto form a frame around the vineyards, The River Adige, our silver shining ribbon-like water that runs through the valley and then, the afternoon “L’Ora” wind that blows in off Lake Garda, the breeze maintaining our climate dry and the vineyards healthy.

Our azienda is in the heart of Vallagarina, between Rovereto and Isera, par excellence wine-growing and producing ground of which we are highly proud.

We aren’t a centuries old wine-making tradition, we started as wine growers in the harvest of 1976, inheriting this passion and tradition mainly from our family farm workers of yore. 40 years of Longariva, everlasting dreams to share in a glass with you!

Making wine is our life and we dedicate the utmost attention to the environment and to the right rhythm of nature. We like to match a philosophy on how we work together with an agronomic innovation only to present our wines anchored to our local history and authentic expression of our ground to a wider market.

Our vineyards, distributed between hills and foothills stretch over an area of about fifteen hectares and are cultivated on low rows of vines and simple Trentino style pergola. Our selection of grapes for our wines are exclusively produced and grown on Zinzèle hill and the Perer Vineyard.

Our range of wines faithfully respect the year and toponym of the land of origin: from the TOVI, MAROGNON, QUARTELLA, ZINZÈLE, PRAISTÈL and TRE CESURE reserves to the copper-coloured GRAMINÉ, to the fruity Chardonnay and Pinot grigio PERER and Pinot bianco PERGOLE, and to conclude the aromatic CASCARI and the lively MARZEMINO AI DOSSI and BALDO VINO. And last but not least our late harvest MIGOLETA, that tells us what great potential Zinzèle hill holds, a real and true paradise of which we are so fortunate to watch over. 

Our Cellar is situated in the historic centre of Borgo Sacco, an old river port town for rafts travelling from up north on the River Adige within Rovereto.

Late period grape picking, at the end of October with very limited production and presence of botrytis and berries gently dried. Then further raisining in crates . follows in a dry and airy environment which is . constantly controlled bunch by bunch manually and carefully until February with a final reduction of 70% in weight/grapes.

After an old terraced vineyard had been recalimed in 1991, and the soil renewed, with the aid of technological innovations, the hillside slope was densely planted with low vines. “Collina Zinzèle” was thus created with the vines growing on the steepest side of the slope in order to achieve a limited yield of superior grapes from every vine.
