The vineyards of the Valle dei Laghi: a fusion of tradition, history and passion

In the Valle dei Laghi, a few kilometres from Trento, you will be fascinated by the striking light and colours: the typical vineyards of Trentino, crystal clear, deep blue lakes and the Marocche di Dro, huge stones that dominate the Valle del Sarca like obelisks.

On the estate of Azienda Agricola Pisoni, (including the San Siro, Cesura, Mas del Gobo and Le Part estates) vineyards owned by the family are grown and give rise to wines laden with rich aromas. A wine tour of the vineyard, where you can discover all the secrets of the Pisoni winemakers, is not to be missed.

The Azienda Agricola Pisoni winery is a peaceful and quiet place, where the wine of Trentino rests in wood barrels ready to ferment and give rise to wines with excellent character.

On wine tours and guided tours, you can discover the winery step-by-step and taste the excellent wines with the rural spirit of Marco and Stefano. The events organised every season such as the ritual of harvesting, wine tastings and wine workshops are not to be missed.

Vino Santo has been produced here in very limited quantities, with the local grape Nosiola, since the medieval time. The mature and golden bunches of grapes are left to dry on racks under the roofs of the houses for 6/7 months: from October until Easter.

This wine is very typical of Trentino the northeast region of Italy . In Austrian times it was known as tiroldego ( wine of Tyrol region).

Teroldego loves the hills and clayey ground and it produces a very special wine.

Teroldego has found a perfect habitat in the sunny Valle dei Laghi, which enjoys the breeze from Lake Garda.

The Azienda Agricola Pisoni has been taking care of these vineyards to produce this excellent well structured wine aged in the cellar, but ready to continue its life in the bottle.
