Sagrantino 25 Anni is the result of passionate research and careful clonal selection of the best grapes of Sagrantino.
It is a jubilee wine produced for the first time in 1993 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the winery. Since then it has kept this name together with its unique character, power and elegance.

Vinification: After a gentle crushing-destemming process, constant pumping-overs are performed in order to take out the substances contained in the skin; the wine is macerated for 30 days at more than 30°C.

Organoleptic propertiesCOLOUR: Deep, almost black, ruby red, which turns into garnet with the aging the wine. AROMA: Aromatically sensational, with notes of ripe fruit and hints of spice and vanilla transcended from the barriques. FLAVOUR: Potent, soft and velvety with a slightly bitter aftertaste. |
Temperature when served should be between 18-20°C. |

This rich Sagrantino is a great wine to be paired with roasts/grills of lamb, and other meats. Black truffle, game, and aged cheeses are also lovely partners to match the tannins and body shown in the bottle. |
